We stayed overnight in Johannesburg and were able to attend a session at the temple. It was so good to be in the Temple again. We have 40 people preparing themselves to go to the temple for the first time in June thanks to the generosity of the temple patrons assistance fund. These saints probably wouldn't be about to go to the temple without this fund. It pays for their flight to and from Johannesburg and their room and board while at the temple. They attend as many session s as they can, they take their family history to do family names, and receive their own ordinances and sealings with their family members who can attend with them. One sister who attended in January is a returned missionary and had taught people about being forever families. She felt sad that her family hadn't been sealed. But she her 4 brothers, 1 sister, and parents made the journey even during the election crisis where miracles happened to let them through the blockades and even get the bus ride.
