Julie and Russ come to Africa

We had a delightful time with Julie and Russ. They followed us all over Kenya--of course they were in the back seat. They arrived in Nairobi early Saturday morning and after a shower and breakfast, we headed West to Kitale.
Here's Bill and Russ at the Rift Valley overlook.

Russ and Julie at the equator. We watched the demonstration which was very interesting--a bowl of water with a small hole in the bottom and a matchstick or small twig. In the northern hemisphere water goes clockwise so the twig moves that way, in the southern hemisphere it goes counter clockwise, on the equator line it stands still.
Julie at the mountain lookout.

Genie and Debra Sitati at the Naitiri Branch Conference. Naitiri is a small village outside Kitale. The branch was reorganized that day.

I was going to put a picture of the new branch presidency, but I didn't get it in and now I can't.
President Shadrach Barasa, 1st Counselor Martin Sitati, 2nd Counselor Evans Barasa, Clerk Clifton.
