The day after Christmas we flew to Mombasa for a zone conference. The next day we attended the Changamwe Branch and after the services attended a baptism. The baptismal meeting was held in the meeting house, then members of the church gathered in two matatus (mini buses), the couples and assistants cars and drove to the beach where the baptism was performed in the Indian Ocean.
This is Elder Burton from Utah with Janet who was baptized and her daughter and son on the beach before the ordinance.

Walking out of the Ocean after the baptism was performed . The man in the suit and the man with the tie were the witnesses. It was delightful to watch the men roll up their pant legs and wade into the water to be the witnesses. They all had big smiles on their faces!
