Catharine Kwendo is the Relief Society President of the Kitale Branch. She and her husband have 4 children--2 girls, Rhoda and Sarah who are both married and 2 boys, Benjamin who is serving a mission, and I don't remember the other boy's name. They have 2 grandchildren. Catharine and her husband live about 10 miles from the church. Each Sunday morning Catharine walks to church starting at 6:30 a.m. so she can be there for church at 10:00. Her husband has a bicycle--they also have a young girl from another family living with them, so her husband bikes to church taking the young girl. They live in a beautiful rural area with banana trees in their yard. She is always smiling and happy.
